Al Capone's Revolver Is on the Auction Block
Christie's is auctioning off a collection of guns and other American memorabilia including, most notably, a pistol once owned by infamous gangster Al Capone.

The gun, a Colt .38, was made in 1929, the same year as the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.
It's expected to sell for as much as $115,000, and comes with a letter and signed affidavit from Capone's brother's widow, stating the gun was owned and used by Al Capone, according to the auction house.

Also for sale at the June 22 auction in London is a .44-40 'Model 1873' six-shot single action army revolver once owned by bandit Thomas Coleman “Cole” Younger.
The revolver, also a Colt, dates from 1881. It's estimated to sell for up to $140,000.
