So what are your plans for January 14th? I really didn’t have any up until now. Just figured I’d be cold and miserable, because that is what we do best in and Northeast in January and February. Just found out the Bruce Springsteen will be releasing a brand new album that day, and it sort of changes my outlook. Looks like spring is coming early this year. Get it, Spring is in his name? You can act like that joke isn’t born to run, but we both know it is. So is that joke.

As Hollywood Reporter posted earlier, the album is called High Hopes, and that is exactly what is going into the album. What is making this album so important to die-hard Brucde Fans is the fact that it will feature the LAST recording saxist Clarence Clemons ever recorded with Bruce Springsteen. As many of you know, Clemons passed in away in 2011, leaving a massive void in his absence. High Hopes will be the first (and sadly, last) time we will be able to hear new Clarence Clemons music. As sad as it is to think about that, we need to be joyful that we get some more music at all from the legendary sax man.

Also, it’s new Bruce Springsteen, so how can you NOT be excited?
