Kitty Brucknell announces Broadway album!!

There are rumours flying around all over the place that the UK’s Glitter Queen Kitty Brucknell has began work on a big new album!

But the excitement doesn’t stop there- by the sound of things it should be set to be filled with fabulous tracks, as to the delight of her fans the singer-songwriter has tweeted about beginning work on a musical theatre “Broadway” album featuring her own take on songs from hit Broadway musicals, full of sparkle and New York glamour.

Many people first discovered Kitty on X Factor where she wowed with her show stopping outfits, stunning voice and where her bubbly personality secured her a place in the hearts of the British public as well as Lady Gaga, who adored Kitty and her creative performances.

Although performing on X Factor, Kitty is not an artist with the stigma of a talent show attached to her name; she has built up a large loyal fandom by herself and is a respected and multi talented singer-songwriter, and musician who plays her own instruments including piano and guitar.

Recently, she’s jetted all over the world to perform, filmed music videos in exotic locations, written songs for herself and other artists, performed at Eurovision for Moldova and headlined festivals across the country performing songs from her newly launched entirely self-written album, Glamour And Damage.

The big release from this album was Glitter In The Sky, which was accompanied by an aviation-themed and beautifully shot music video with an other-worldly and magical vibe, featuring sky diving.

Kitty is particularly popular with and is a huge icon in the LGBT community, so Pride festivals where she performs are always met with wildly positive responses from fans such as Darlington pride where she headlined last week.

With fans hugely excited at the idea of her releasing a new Broadway album, Kitty has been uploading behind the scenes clips of her singing live snippets of a few of her new songs. We can’t wait!
