Kobe Bryant To Blame For Deadly Helicopter Crash, Says The Pilots Brother He Knew The Risk

According to some new court documents, the passengers are to blame for the helicopter crash, including Kobe Bryant! One rep for the pilot, Ara Zobayan, claims that they are all at fault for the tragedy since they were well aware of the risks beforehand.

The pilot’s brother, Berge Zobayan, along with the rep have filed these papers in response to the wrongful death lawsuit previously filed by Vanessa Bryant back in February.

As you might know, Ara has also lost his life in the crash as there were no survivors.

Now, HollywoodLife has obtained the court documents filed by the brother, in which he states that ‘any injuries or damages to the plaintiffs and / or to their decedents were caused in full or part directly by the negligence or the fault of plaintiffs and / or their decedents, including their knowing as well as voluntary encounter with all the risks involved, and that this negligence was a substantial factor in causing their damages, for which the answering defendant bears no responsibility.’

Furthermore, Berge also demands a jury trial while also listing Bryant’s other three daughters still alive as plaintiffs.

This comes after Kobe’s wife, Vanessa filed a wrongful death lawsuit against both the pilot and the airline company, ‘seeking compensatory and punitive damages stemming from the helicopter crash in Calabasas on or about January 26 which resulted in the deaths of Kobe Bryant and GB [Gianna Bryant], minor.’

In February, the National Transportation Safety Board updated the public on the crash after an extensive investigation, sharing that there was no evidence of engine failure or any other mechanical problems with the helicopter.

However, the investigation continues today, the definite cause of the crash still being undetermined.

The basketball legend, his and Vanessa’s second born, 13 year old daughter, Gigi, and seven other people, including the pilot lost their lives in the fatal crash on January 26.
